In a bolted joint the sleeve carries the compressive load and fixes the distance between the clamped parts, while keeping the bolt away from the hole wall. Sealing and load carrying are separate duties here. The seal depends on groove depth and on the sleeve face staying flat, while the wall has to resist crushing under the bolt preload. Anodising grows the surface by a few micrometres, which is enough to change a groove fit if it is not allowed for.
Material: 6061-T6 Aluminum Alloy. The bolt passes through the sleeve to set the spacing.
Specify anodising before fixing groove dimensions, and check that the sleeve face is flat enough for the seal to seat; a face that is not square loads the seal on one side.

| Standard | GB/T 3191 (aluminium bar), customer drawing |
| Installation | bolt passes through the sleeve for spacing |
| Typical substrate | battery packs and lightweight structures |
| Key inspections | bore, length, compressive load |
Bore, outside diameter, length and wall thickness are sampled by calliper or optical gauge. We recommend a pilot assembly at the actual torque and mating part before locking the process parameters for volume.
