The arrangement suits equipment serviced often. Repeated assembly wears the thread of a normal screw; here the base carries the thread, and a worn base can be replaced. Cold-flow requirements match those of clinching nuts, so hole size and panel thickness must be respected.
Material: Carbon Steel / Stainless Steel. It is pressed into a prepared hole from one side.
For frequent service, specify the spring-loaded captive type so the screw retracts clear of the panel.
| Material | Carbon Steel / Stainless Steel |
|---|---|
| Surface Treatment | Zinc-plated / Stainless steel finish |
| Standard | GB/T 90.1, customer drawing |
| Installation | pressed into a prepared hole (single side) |
| Typical substrate | panels, covers and access doors |
| Key inspections | push-out, perpendicularity, captive function |
Screw-to-base coaxiality and perpendicularity are sampled.Alternative materials and finishes can be quoted side by side during sampling, so cost and corrosion resistance can be traded off explicitly.
