A blind rivet consists of a body and a mandrel. Anaerobic sealant stays liquid while it is exposed to air and cures once the joint excludes oxygen against a metal surface, which is exactly the condition inside a set rivet nut. Cure is incomplete if the clearance is too large or the surfaces are oily, so hole fit and cleanliness come before sealant choice.
