Reliability depends on the flatness of the panel face and on press force. Water enters an enclosure along the annular gap between standoff and panel, so the seal has to close that gap continuously. Leak testing at the specified pressure is the only reliable check, because a seal can look complete and still pass water at a joint that is not fully compressed.
Material: Stainless Steel / Brass. It is pressed into a prepared hole from one side.
For higher medium pressure, add thread sealant as well; the flange seal alone is not designed for high pressure.
| Material | Stainless Steel / Brass |

| Typical substrate | sheet-metal housings requiring sealing |
| Key inspections | leak tightness, seal compression |
Seal compression checked on cross-sections against the design window.Alternative materials and finishes can be quoted side by side during sampling, so cost and corrosion resistance can be traded off explicitly.
