Wedge-locking washers work in pairs. A large base reduces peel at the edge of the bond, which is where a bonded joint usually starts to fail. It also lowers the stress in the adhesive for a given load, so the joint tolerates more misalignment between stud and mating hole.
Material: Carbon Steel / Stainless Steel. The two washers are fitted as a pair with the cams facing each other.
Check that the base clears nearby features and that the panel can take the bonding area; a large base on a curved or narrow flange will not sit flat.
| Material | Carbon Steel / Stainless Steel |
|---|---|
| Adhesive | Epoxy / Cyanoacrylate |
| Standard | GB/T 94.1, ISO 16130 (transverse vibration) |
| Installation | fitted as a pair with cams facing |
| Typical substrate | wind, construction and rail structures |
| Key inspections | tooth height, hardness, locking performance |
Locking performance is verified by transverse vibration testing such as ISO 16130, recording preload decay.Alternative materials and finishes can be quoted side by side during sampling, so cost and corrosion resistance can be traded off explicitly.
